Esther Pomerantz

The pomegranate in my garden inspired me to express my excitement for the wonders of nature. The pomegranate for me symbolizes abundance, nurturing, growth, passion and holiness. According to the Kabbalah, the 613 seeds that it cointans is parallel to the 613 decrees that are mentioned in the Bible. I love it’s wholeness and distinctive crown and this and other perspectives on the fruit you can find in my paintings.
